Workers Row House Experience

The Workers Row House will be a unique historical site in Metropolitan Detroit. It is the only site of its kind that will interpret the lives of working-class Detroiters from the 1850s through the Twentieth Century. The Experience will complement other significant historical sites in our area, and will communicate through hands-on exhibits and interactive interpretation how working-class domestic life, the neighborhood, and the city changed over time.

The Workers Row House Committee invites you to become a “Friend” of the Workers Row House. With your support the work will continue. Some of that work includes:

Continued Research and Architectural Planning
Site Work and Signage
Interior Period Designs for Individual Units
Complete Exterior & Interior Restoration
Complete the Interpretive Plan
Acquiring Necessary Artifacts and Collections
